Winchester on A8N-SLI and Vapochill

I have just moved over to the Athlon 64 and so far it is proving to be a rather interesting learning curve, I have pretty muched sussed overclocking on air and the performance is great.

However when I set up the system so that I could use my Vapochill LS, which has spent the last few months cooling a Prescott with no problems the system would not post in 99 out of a hundred starts and would on the one occasion is did post it hung immediately after.

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience of using a Vapochill or Prometia system with a Winchester as I am beginning to falll short on ideas.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
Maybe somik to do with the sub temp reading on the board ? im maybe wrong but im new to this and think i read somik where - temps were causeing systems to not post on or lock up asap on winchesters ?
Maybe one of the guru's on here can help you more 🙂

There a lots of threads there of people not beeing able to run winchesters below 0º.
Think it's an issue with some batch of cpu's.... but there they explain better...
 
Thanks for that, it was a great help.

Now to wait for some bios revisions to sort out the negative temp problem.
