basically asking what clockspeed would a s754 cpu have to be to be neck to neck with a winnie at 2600mhz

Since dual channel makes up like 3-5% IMO based on benches I would think around 2700mhz......2600*1.033 = 2686mz to 2600*1.05 = 2730mhz

wow, so i'd have to be at 2793mhz on my s754 to get close to ur superpi time

right now my best is 28:12 at 2750 (250x11) cuz i wanted to run my cpu/ram at 1:1

this was at 2-2-2 timings

you'd think it was cuz of a low htt, but 2754 (306x9) yielded 28:14

i didnt do an average though so maybe it was just a fluke

do you really think 43 mhz would add an extra almost 40 sec to my time though? 🙁

possibly....as well as do what I did and run higher ddr at cas 2.5....superpi does like a bit of bandwidth...
