I've purchased OCZ and their own "generic" memory several times, and it as performed as specified each time. One chip of PC3200 arrived damaged in that SPD set it to DDR266 instead of the proper DDR400, and the RMA took about 3 minutes, and was completely painless - I had the replacement before I even had time to ship the original back.

How does a stick of ram get "damaged" down to a by SPD setting of 266? lol...the UPS driver flashing the dimm rom?
