with the nforce2 boards in the forefront for the time being these memory deals always seem to be welcomed. these are the same winbond bh-5 chips that have been so popular on the winbond and corsair brands. i haven't used buffalo before but with these chips its hard to go wrong as i have seen reviews on several different pcb's and these chips always seem to shine through.
if anyone has experience with these please post and i will add relevant info as its posted. $45 is about as cheap as it gets and it seems memory prices are going up again on the higher end modules so grab some for those second and third systems while the prices are right.
here are the prices on the 512mb modules which seem to be quite a bit cheaper than you'll find anywhere else online...
512MB PC3200 - $85
512MB PC3700 - $102
...after checking Buffalo's website for more info on their memory it says they are using Samsung modules for their PC3700 series but after double checking Newegg it surely says the modules they have are Winbond chips. Buffalo more than likely switched to Samsung here recently as i don't think Newegg would advertise and picture Winbond chips if they didn't infact have them stocked.
at any rate, those who do order please post exactly what you got from Newegg and i will update accordingly.
