Winamp v5.112 released recently

Winamp 5.112
* Fixed: burning crash with EQ enabled
* Fixed: [in_mp3] id3v1->id3v2 copy glitch

i'm gussing most of you are probably still using Winamp 5.1 Surround Edition

Most of us avoid the newer AOLamps like the plague, since they have gotten more & more bloated.

But i have to use 5.8, since aacPlus v2 requires that or higher to play.

That's what I thought, but the new Winamps with the classic skin has about the same memory footprint as the 2.x releases. Enable Modern Skins, that's when things get slower and bigger.

Don't trust me? Check it out yourself, install it and check out it's ram and vm usage. Change skins, and watch it change, big time.

I'm still using 2.80. I can't imagine what a newer version or different player could offer or do better than what this one does.
