winamp / other: how to play random albums?

I want to shuffle-play albums (folders of mp3s) using winamp or some other player. as far as I can tell, using Winamp 2.95 shuffle will mix up tracks from different albums, but i want to listen to each album one at a time (but in a random order). Anyone know how i should do this?

no clue, but can you make a playlist for each album, then put those playlists into a playlist and randomize it?

in all the programs i've tried, adding together each album's playlist would just make one bigger playlist that simply includes all the tracks, and playing this on random would mean skipping from track to track (without it mattering what album the track was from)

Foobar will do this if you set the order to "Shuffle (albums)".
Cool! I'll give Foobar another try. I had some issues with the interface and occaisional crashes last time I used it, but that was a while ago. I'll give it another shot
