Winamp Display Lockups

Why does Winamp display lockup so much? I constantly get the black screen. The only way I can get rid of it is to do a Control, Alt, Delete once and then End Task on Winamp AVS Display. Once I do that everything starts working again. Any ideas?
 
I had this happen w/ my previous video card, and it apparently was a conflict between the card's drivers and Winamp. To fix it I went to the Winamp Menu, Options, Preferences, Options, Display, and took the checkmark out of the box marked Use Winamp-styled (skinned) cursors.
 
the only problem related to winamp locking up that i have had, is when i click the top left corner button, sometimes it jut refuses to accet the click, unless i click elsewhere on the screen, and then try again. never had the problem that you are having though.
