winamp and media keys on keyboard help

im trying to get those little extra media player keys on the keyboard to work with only winamp. i turned on global hotkeys and used tweak ui to switch off the keys' target. but then when i push the play/open media player key, both windows media player and winamp opens at the same time. how can i make it open only winamp? or what other methods can i use to disable windows media player's response to those keys?
