Nice.

An update Winamp that doesn't need the same system specs as Simcity 4. :D

yeah i think its a good upgrade, it adds the library feature which is really nice, easier to acess radio stations and video etc, and also it plays videos, A decent upgrade, no bloat that i can tell so its a good deal

yeah, it seems to work just fine for me. The "library" is kinda nifty, but I'll never use except for maybe some shoutcast stations.

I like it. Any software package that comes as freeware with tons of features and no bloat is a good thing. Periodic updates and bug fixes on top of that is a great thing.

I just updated all 3 systems in my control to Winamp 2.90 and both Win2K Pro and WinXP (Pro and Home) like it. I say update your Winamp!

2,9 has decided that it doesn't want to play about half of my music files, whereas 2.81 will.

I only ever have all my music queued anyway, and I use WMP or WinDVD for video files, so i'll pass on this.

Did you download the full or light version? The lite version only supports mp3s/wavs... And did you uncheck any options during install such as "associate with files"? Doing so will cause Winamp not to play files...

It seems that the lite version doesn't support CDDB, while the standard version does? Can anyone confirm this, or is it something I did wrong? The only reason I ask is because I could only get song titles off CDDB by installing the standard version, with the lite version it said something like "CDDB not installed" or something. I dont care about using the standard version, but found it odd that the lite version didn't support CDDB...

Full, and let it take ALL associations, even double checked on the 2nd time, just to make sure. It just doesn't load and play about half of my music (some of it ones I've ripped myself) whereas 2.81 plays them all.
