Win98SE/XP pro dual boot problem.

I had 2 partitions. C: was XP pro, and D: was 98SE which i loaded in first cause i didnt have XP boot disk. Anyways, something happened to 98 and it wouldnt give me the option to boot to it, no problem, i only stored things on that partition anyways. Well, now, i just formatted D: and re-installed 98SE onto it. The problem is, now the computer wont recognize my XP partition. Instead of going to the screen where i can choose to boot to Windows 98 or Windows XP, it just boots to 98.... how can i get the comp to recognize that XP is there and give me the option of booting to it? or if i cant do that, what about a boot manger program or something? I checked and my XP partition is fine so i did install to the right drive. HELP ME PLEASE!! do i sound to desperate? well, thanks ahead of time 😀
