I leave my computer idle for sometime, and it seems to mess up after a certain amount of time. if i turn off the screen, or if i dont turn off the screen it still seems to mess up. like ill fall asleep then awake to a screen with nothing on it. you can't see any icons at all, but i can still move the mouse. no task bar, no icons, no nothing. what could be the problem? i am hoping to reolve this because of the fact that i do download things over night. any help is appreciated.
 
Probably you are using the power management in windows? try to disable that and set everything to on always, and do whatever power management you want to do in the BIOS. See if that helps.
