win98plus and winxp

i just got a 4 port wireless router, my pc with win98 plus is connected to the 4port router, and my laptop has winxp with the wireless pcmcia card, they both work on the internet, but how would i get them to see each other, they both have the same workgroup, and i put file and printer sharing on the win98 machine, both machines have antivirus 2004 n stuff, thanks if you can help!!!
