This had happened several times ever since IE6 came out. I've reformatted my computer about 3 times. I would install Windows 98 SE OEM, then all drivers and softwares. By that time my Windows Explorer will work fine, but couple of days after I installed IE6 my Windows Explorer will have those annoying "double clicks." What I mean by that is when I click on any folder on the left column (with the drives and folders tree listing [+] & [-] stuff) it'll automatically 'flash' the highlight on another folder, as if I had clicked on another folder by accident (which I didnt). So basically I have to click the [-] twice to close a sub folder on the left column of Windows Explorer. I know this is hard to understand, I have no better way to discribe it, but whoever has the same problem (which is actually not a big problem, just annoying) will know what I'm talking about. I dont believe I have this problem on my other PC which are running XP Pro and 2K Pro, but I have to use Win98 on this PC for personal reaons. Anyone know a fix other than alternative file browsing programs and not install IE6 after I reformat? TIA
