I've read via this forum that the migration from Win98 to WinXP / Pro will be well worth the effort.
Just curious to hear of any horror stories or what to look out for.
My configuration is pretty simple, standard MS Office 2000 software, CD Creator / Direct CD, general utility products, web page design tools, Quickbooks Pro.
This is a home office machine that I use for running a small business. Would hate to loose my business software and critical files (so I know that a thorough backup will be in order).
Like all things in this world, I know that technology needs to move forward, but I hate spending valuable weekend hours and nights fighting an upgrade. I've done it all too many times.
If anyone has any "heads up" tales to tell, I would love to see someone speak up.
