Win98 networking glitch - please help

Greetings all,
I have been setting up a LAN at my office's landlord/accountant/neighbor's home for the last couple of weeks. It's a 802.11b set up, and almost everything works fine. With one exception, I can browse the network from the 2 remote computers. When I open Network Neighborhood, and click on "Entire Network" I get an alert box that says "Can't browse the Network, open Network Troubleshooter" blah blah blah. Well, I went through all the trouble shooter steps, and none of those were the problem. The wireless card works fine (when it gets decent reception on one machine) for browsing the net, I just can't access the LAN.

Here is a quick schematic-

Cable Modem

Dlink Wireless Acess Point/router ---------- PC#1 via Cat5 <--- has 60GB HD that needs to be shared (configured to do so)

PC#2 PC#3 Future laptop

PC's 2 & 3 are both connected via wireless DLink PC cards, Laptop has built in 802.11b

Both of those machines are the ones that I have issues with the network on.

Any help that can be given is highly appreciated.

thanks
