Was there ever a full edition of win95 on a cdrom? I know it existed on diskettes, if it exists, where could one obtain it?

Best place to get a copy of Win95 or 98 CDROM is at a local computer show. It's about $50-70. Beware, however. You can't usually boot straight from the CDROM using '95's boot disk. If you have a new mobo (like in the past year or so) then you might be able to set the BIOS to boot from CDROM, otherwise you'll need to get a '98 boot disk, or make a custom '95 boot disk with your cdrom drivers and MSCDEX.EXE file. I recommend get '98 CDROM with its boot disk instead of '95.😉🙂:Q🙁:|🙁:Q🙂
