Hello.
I am very pissed. I have a Win95 machines at work and almost 80% of them give me this
error message when I try to run some application :

Winzip80.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

I have noticed that this happens when I try to run selfcompressed files, or intallation
packages. I can run stuff like Internet Explorer, Office 97, and a lot of other crap, but if I try Winzip80.exe (the intallation package) or some other software that I need for my work :

... is not a valid Win32 application

Any suggestions ?

Thank you!

Looks like your Winzip80.exe has been corrupted. Try to download the file again.

No, No it is not corrupted. I have tried to download it more then 10 times.
WHAT EVEN I TRY TO RUN THAT IS SELF-EXTRACTED - doesn't work. And this is on all my computers at work - like 5-6 of them. I have managed to fix one of them like 1 year ago by installing net Internet explorer (at least i think that this was what fixed it).

I have 0 ideas left. I do not want to change the OS.

Did you disable your anti-virus software before running the file?
The file isn't on a CD, is it?

Thank you for the posting. I just disabled my antivirus software- did not help. I got the suggestion to run in safe mode and try it in there. Also, I am not running it from a cd. I just download it from the internet and try it. I am going under safe mode and try again.
