win7 x64 - hosts file

I've tried editing my hosts file with administrator mode and it works fine. when pinging the domain from cmd prompt.

i've also tried ipconfig /flushdns, restarting my computer, ran ccleaner to delete all the cache/cookies.. restarted again.

but none of my browsers will load the website from the correct server.

I've searched on google and saw a lot of people with win7 hosts file problem.. but nothing that was suggested worked for me.

any ideas?

I'm also using Microsoft Security Essentials if that could cause any problems?
