Win7 help - IE8 got uninstalled. How to re-install?

My buddies rig, running Win7 RC1 32-bit. He says that IE8 disappeared off of the task bar, and off of the start menu.

Tried to download IE8 off of MS's site, and it says he already has it.

Tried "Default Programs" - IE8 is not listed.

32-bit - C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
64-bit - C:\Program Files (64-bit)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

If that doesn't work, he probably uninstalled it. If that's the case type "features" into the Start menu, the option we want "Turn windows features on or off" [UAC] will appear. Internet Explorer 8 should be third from the top.
