This may be old news, but on 760KFMB radio (All About Computers - talk show) WIN7 Home Premium is available to students for $29.99 at http://www.win741.com .

Supposedly for $13.99 you may order it on hard media.

That's an additional $13.99 if you want it on disk as well.

Did you just miss the second part of his post or is "hard media" not a disc?

The way the OP is worded now it sounds like hes saying that it will be ONLY $14 rather than an additional $14.

ooh. I see now.

Sorry for slow response, but this post has been sitting idle for awhile & I didnt bother to check as I assumed that it was "old hat" news.

I just caught the tail end segment on WIN 7 & what I heard was what I said. However, it has to be an additional $13.99 for the media which I understood to be on optical disk (not even sure if it is CD or DvD). Anyway, the radio program was aired last Saturday.

Win7 media is too large to fit on a CD, so I'm betting you'll see it on DVD. Mine should be available for download tomorrow! 🙂

Oh man, I bough Windows 7 Home Premium via this offer and now I see you can get Pro for the same price. I wonder if I change the cd-key with the Pro one if it will open up pro...
