hey all, I have tried to look and see if I can find a way to increase how long it takes for the desktop background to change. The max default is only 1 day and would like to increase it to more.

anyone see that?

I think he is aware of that. He is asking how to make the picture change even less often than once per day.

not quite, dreamscene was more for animated backgrounds where this just changes your desktop wallpaper randomly from as specified set

I believe DreamScene had a component that allowed image slide shows as well, Dahak. I'd guess this is a new implementation as I remember hearing all of the ultimate extras were licensed from other companies.

In return for f***ing up earlier, here is the reg key associated with Desktop Slideshow:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Personalization\Desktop Slideshow

Does it work? Not for me, I can't get it to transition in anything less than ten seconds. I can, however, toggle the shuffle setting via the registry and change the interval time, so I know these keys are associated with the feature.
