Win7 64bit & Logitech Setpoint

Hi,

I reinstalled my os with Windows 7 Ultimate 64 and everything seems to be running smooth except Logitech Setpoint which I really need for my mouse (speed settings). It gives me some error that setpoint failed to start due to the applications side by side configuration. I can't find any solution on Logitech or google.

Anyone else run in to this problem?

i.e. you may need to download and install the VC++ redistributable

Awesome, I did find this post and isntalled the 2005 version. After further review I found that the latest release of Setpoint requires Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64)

I had some problems with my G5 acceleration in Setpoint 6.0/W7 x64 so you're not missing much. I uninstalled and I'm using stock Windows mouse drivers for now. I'm not playing any FPS at the moment so it's not a big deal, but I can't play twitch shooters at the stock (400/800/2000?) dpi settings.

zagood I haven't played many games on it either but CODMW I like to play and default don't get it. It goes from 800-2000. I have it setup as 1600-1200-1000-800-600 and this works great for me.

Well if you want to give it another try, you'll need the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x64).
