win2kpro-can't choose other drive when installing new sw

Hi, I am running win2kpro, w/full admin priveleges, and when i try to install a new proggy it doesn't bring up my other hard disk drives-only option is C: and I don't want to put it there. It was fine yesterday-what have I done!!!????
Any one know how to fix this?

Can you see the drive in My Computer? You also might want to check out the Event Log. More info might be helpful

Is it one particular program or several??? There is some software that doesn't allow much customization of the install. It's fairly rare, but it does happen.

Hi and thanks. There are no errors/messages in the event log and it does it on all programs. The latest one I tried is adobe photoshop and it normally lets me install it wherever I want.
Yes, all drives are shown in "my computer"
Is there something in tweak UI that I could have hit by accident, I just installed it yesterday.

Update: if I type in the path it works ok, but when I click on the drives button the window that normaly shows all the drives is blank!!!!!!
