win2k web serving

I'm running windows 2000 professional and I want to host a website. Problem is, when I go to view my webpages using my IP address, lots of times images don't load properly. What's up with this? If i hit refresh a lot in a short period of time I'll get the too many users connected to this site at once. IIS is limiting me to 10 connections at once. Is there any way I can avoid this problem? I only want to host one website.

thx

Yeah, get Win2K server.

If you use a lot of external files in your page like js files and css files, you'll get the too many users errors. I'm guessing it treats simultaneous connections to the server by a client as each "user" if that makes any sense.

That's what I was thinking which sucks. I guess I'm going to have to find some money to upgrade to win2k server. I was hoping there would be a way to avoid this as I don't have a lot of money 🙁
