Win2K web server - I updated some things now it asks for username and password...

I did several updates from the M.S. site and added another hard drive and now when I try to access my site, I get a prompt asking for username and password. I don't want this site to have a p.w. Where is the setting for this? What happened? I can't even get in with my username and p.w. for the PC.

Please help!

First make sure that all the files for the web site (htms, gifs, jpegs, etc.) have RX permission for the user: IUSR_whatever. Then make sure that you have anonymous access enabled in Internet Services Mananger (in Administrative Tools).

All the files where there, but when you mentioned ISUR_whatever - I remember seeing that as a user and disabling it. I wasn't sure what it was - that's why. Now that it's enabled, everything is working fine.
