i know that w2k can support dual processors. we just got our 'new' (used loosely here) computers at work. processors are less than optimal. wondering if i requistion another p3 cpu, would it make enough difference in compiling?

specs are
p3 500. 256mb full build. 28mins
p3 866 512mb full build. 8 mins.
p3 866/p3 866 512mb full build. ?? mins?

Windows 2000 Professional supports up to 2 processors. If you want any more than that you'll have to get one of the server editions.

Edit: Disregard the above. I didn't read your question correctly.
