I set up a user profile for my kids and set the screen resolution to 800x600. Now when I login to my desktop its also at 800x600. Is there any way to tell Windows to remember this user setting?

Well I don't know if what you want is possible... it might be, but I don't know the answer yet. I'll try and find out. You could setup another hardware profile though, but that requires a reboot anyways to work... lemme check on this one though as I'd like to know.

Windows remembers screen rez globally. You can't set it different for each user account. If you set up separate hardware profiles, you or your kids would have to select which profile to use everytime the computer was started. That's probably too much work, I'd just set it to one resolution and leave it.
