Hello, I recently installed a Win98SE/Win2K dualboot. Win2K's just fine and dandy, but I just don't have the time to install and configure all the programs/drivers I use. I don't like programs just sitting on my hard drive if I don't use them, so how do I go about uninstalling Win2K? I have it setup on a different logical drive than 98, so is it ok to just boot 98 and delete all the 2K system files from there? Or will the computer go haywire if I do that?

however you will still see the ntloader every time the computer boots up. If you delete that then everything is dead.

On the second thought You might be able to do a sys c: but I'm not sure.
 
If you fdisk mbr from your primary partition it usually removes bootloaders to dual boot systems. It worked on my linux and win 98 system to get rid of the boot loader.
 
If you run sys c: from DOS prompt it will change the disk ID to DOS, from NT, causing boot to use io.sys instead of ntldr. Then you could just delete all the NT files.
 
First, take a win98 bootup disk, and boot with it. Then do a "sys c:". That should get rid of the bootloader. Then delete the \winnt folder and the pagefile.sys file.
