Win2k & TNT2 Problem, Games say no direct 3d device is present.

Running 2k sp1 and a powercolor tnt2 m64 32mb. Using detonator 3's and an abit 440bx mobo. Mobo configuared as follows:
AGP:TNT2
PCI:NIC, LINKSYS HOMELINK
PCI:SB LIVE!
PCI:3COM USR 56K HARDWARE MODEM
PCI/ISA:MAXTOR ULTRA 100
ISA
ISA
No games detect a direct cd video card. i have everything installed right and it all works in 98se(i'm dual booting).

btw, when i can get a game to work(running it out of the c: drive in 2k) it just plays in a window on the desktop.

You could try upgrading your Direct X, or reinstalling it.

i already did that, running directx 7, i there a newer version?

Yes, there is directX 8. I got it at Windows Update. Good luck, and I wish I could help you more as I have the same video card in 2000!
