How do I remove statup processes like winamp and ati utilities in win2k pro? I know that in win98 you can go to the system info and them get into it there, but you can't do that in win2k. Any help on this topic is much appreciated as I am new to win2k.. Thank's

I just downloaded a system manager from download.com to get rid of my start up programs. I think you can edit it in the registry also, but I'm too lazy to do that also 🙂

You can do it in the registry or there are programs that will let you do it also like my personal favoriate Xteq X-setup. Just use the startup wizard in in X-setup and dissable any apps you dont want to start in bootup. You can get X-setup here for free.X-Setup download You can also dissable programs from starting from the services section in Administrative tools but X-setup is the easy way to do it.
