Argh!
I have a simple Win2K system setup with a small primary drive(~8GB) and two data drives - one at 60GB and another at 100GB. I started with the 60GB drive, it started to get full, then I popped in the 100GB drive and made a spanned volume.
All's been fine - until yesterday. It appears that the second data drive(100GB) failed. I cant get the spanned volume back on-line. The BIOS recognizes it and so does a Western Digital util.
Can I simply pop out the two drives and install them in, say, a WinXP machine to get the data? Is there a way to get to the data in the 60GB drive? It seems that this drive is on-line but it's status is "failed".
I recently physically disconnected the power to the 100GB drive to see if the 60GB drive would come up by itself - no luck.
Any ideas?
