WIN2K SP2 SR1 post update issues.....

Hi I'm running Win2k Server SP2 with IE6 and I installed
the Win2k SRP1. Then everytime I browsed the internet or
my computer etc. and used a drop down menu/box my computer
freezes. I mean the keyboard and mouse refuse to function.
I had music playing the other day and that kept going and
so did a download of mine. I uninstalled SRP1 and the
problem persists. I did not have this problem when before
installing SRP1. Also the event log does not say anything.
Anyone having similar problems? or know how to fix this..

This is a documented issue...SRP1 breaks an ActiveX control--dropdownmenu or something like it.

AFAIK there is no fix. Either don't visit websites that use it, or back out of SRP1.
