Win2k SP2 : IIS 5.0 Not Working.

IIS 5.0 has decided not to work now

I've reinstalled the app numerous times, and even re-installed my network card. (yes I know IIS can run from 127.0.01)

All I keep on getting is HTTP 500 Internal Server Error when I do either :-

http://localhost or http://[server-name]

Help... I don't want to re-install windows..

On http://localhost, you should be getting an IIS configuration / help screen (by default). You're not, so I would check your directory/file permissions, as well as the default website permissions to see if you can process scripts & executables.

If that doens't work, uninstall IIS and reinstall it?
