win2k service pack question..

i have a few question regarding to service packs.

if i download services pack 2, does it includes services pack 1 and all the other older fixes/patches that's available on microsoft's download page?
 
if you dload the critical updates then dload service pack 2 i believe you will end up having to dload more critical updates. you should install the service pack first and then install the other updates afterwards.
 
are all the other win2k updates essential? i have sp2 installed, just dunno if i need to download all the other updates.. i know i should just download whatever i need, but i don't want to download the same thing twice, ie included in sp2.. i'm on 56k modem..
 
if you go to windows update it will see what you already have installed so you won't be downloading the same thing twice
