Win2k Server keeps asking for the CD

Whenever I make any kind of configuration change I have to pop in the CD. Is there anyway to stop this? Can I just copy the cab files to the hard drive like in 9x? What files and where?

Thanks.

After installing off the CD, I just copy to the hard drive and then once it asks me for the CD to add additional info..I just point it to the hard drive.
Copy the I386 folder off the CD onto the hard drive and you should be all set.
I know there is a reg change to make the OS point right to the hard drive..but I dont do that , just let the OS find it the first time.
Good luck!

You can just copy the i386 directory to your hard drive. It's still gonna ask you every time for the files... but at least you won't need the CD.

There is a way to set the default path to the location on your HD, but ... while I've seen it done, I don't remember how it was done.
