I recently have installed win2k server and everything is working fine, except for the fact that the workstations seem to lose internet connectivity after being online previously. I am really not sure if it is a dns server problem or DHCP problem. I am trying to figure that out. I can always remotely login when I use the computer name, so I do not believe that it is a dns problem. I have looked at every option under the dhcp server config module and I set the lease to infinite , so I dont see why the lease would expire. Any help would be greatly appreciated , Carlos

Agamar : yes it is, I have RIS installed on the machine. Thanks for the reply!

Here is the event viewer msg..
"The DHCP/BINL service has determined that it is not authorized to service clients on this network for the Windows domain: "

here is the thing, it is authorized . What could be causing this. Maybe DNS configured wrong ? THanks!
