Win2K Reinstall (Over Existing Installation)

Easy CD Creator 5.0 Platinum crashed my system. There is a problem that Roxio has and so that stuff is not going back on.

However, I now have extra adminstrator files etc... and I need to get the system back to where it was before the crash. It appears that my programs are there and they work when I click on the appropriate link but the Control Panel does not show them and most of my drivers do not load.

Any suggestions?

Have you made a repair disk? If so boot to it and run the repair. You could spend about an hour going through and fixing the problem manually but the repair disk will take only about 20min. You can also boot to the os cd and run a repair that way. Basically installing over existing install with out touching any of your programs (meaning you won't loose any info). Good luck
