I'm looking for a remote control application to automatically load on some client computers that sign into a Win2k domain. I know that Netmeeting comes with Win2k and is easy to configure in the group policies....however, I cannot seem to figure out if it's possible to run it in the background to automatically accept incoming calls. I downloaded the Resource Kit for it and was able to create a configuration file, but I'm new to this stuff. Has anyone else done this before?

I do it multiple times a day. Click Tools->Remote Desktop Sharing and run the wiz. Then click Call->Exit and Activate RDS. You'll be able to connect using either the machine name or its IP address. When calling, you need to check the "Require security..." checkbox.

I understand how remote desktop sharing works and all. I was just curious if there was a way to activate it through a configuration file without having to travel to each desktop. Group Policies allow you to load a configuration file through Windows 2000, but I wasn't sure if anyone had ever tried using it to do something like that. I can always ghost computers or travel to each desktop, but I'd rather do it from the server if I can since we're talking about 500+ desktops. Thanks.
