Win2k Pro Shutdown Problem

I'm running Win98 SE/Win2k Pro dual boot and whenever I'm in Win2k and I go to shutdown or restart, it looks like it is going to shutdown and gets to the "saving your personal settings" display and just sits there forever. I've heard this is a problem with Win2k Pro and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it. Thanks in advance for any help 🙂

Win2k does the same for me. I just hit the power button and forget about it. Running chkdsk hasn't returned any file system problems. You may want to take this with a grain of salt though...

Some time when you have the chance just let it sit. I am running server and I have to let it sit for about 20 minutes on occasion. I have found that the more "stuff" you have on in the Profile that you use the longer you have to wait. The time that I had a 2.3 GB flder for Admin was when it took the longest to shut down.
