SB Live. Stock Windows Drivers....

Works like a champ. Though, I AM going to load some of the creative programs to take advantage of the EAX crap. Plus get the latest drivers...

Either way, SB Live works great in W2K.

I'm using a Sound Blaster Live! value card and Win2K. No problems at all.

I am the same as a number of people on the forum. I had an MX300. This was great for Win98SE, but when i moved to WinME and 2k the headaches it caused forced me to move to an SB live. In my opinion the Sb lives in game sound is inferior to the Aureal. But then again, mp3s sound better, i can get driver updates and my pc isnt looking up now
