<< BTW when I ticked the box to enable APM, the BH6 computer blue-screened on shutdown...so I un-ticked that! >>

I just hate it when they do that! :disgust:

<< sorry i didn't follow up sooner, I droped of the earth temporarily. Yes, checking the APM box worked, thanks Divide. :) >>

That's cool! It's great that you got your problem fixed. The rest of us just carried the thread on with our own problems! :D

Hey, Hey, Hey wait a minute Vas! You can't just waltz in here, solve your problem, and waltz out leaving my problem unsolved:frown: You gotta stay and hold my hand:p

Geez, It's $hit being idiot:eek: Where is this APM box youse guys are 'ticking', BIOS (I'll have to power down - manually:) - and look).

My sys specs: BP6 (NJ1.22 bios), 2XC366@550, Voodoo3-2k, SB Live Value, IBM deskstar, blah, blah, blah .....

Still no luck. APM and ACPI ticking didn't do the trick. Did I mention that when the 'you can turn off your computer now' box pops up that I can't power down using the power button on front of my Enlight? I have to use the rocker switch on back:frown:

There have been so many solutions posed (Regedit, apm, acpi) that I may not have tried all possible combos or permutations. I'll power down and do that in a little bit; but I ain't gonna hold my breath.

In the meantime, any other ideas? Seems to work with 95b:confused:
