I installed Win2k on my workstation, and now when I boot into windows and it tries to restore the network drives, it asks for a user name and password. In Win98 it had a little check box at the bottom of the window to remember the password. How do I make Win2k restore the drives without asking for a password every time? Thanks

If you explore My Computer and then go Tools -> Map Network Drive and select the Drive in question, does it say reconnect at login, also click on Connect using a different user name and ensure it is logging on as the correct user id...

I think if you successfully connect with one id and password that it uses that id and password until you change it. It should remember the password. Can you connect with the id that you are signing onto? If not, sign onto the machine with the id that can connect to the network dives.

I can connect to the network drives fine. It's just really annoying that I have to type in my user name and the password for EVERY network share every time I reboot my PC. Any ideas how to make it remember the info?
