win2k: need to uninstall a program but it won't let me

i just upgraded from win me to win2k and for some reason easy cd isn't working so i'm trying to fix this.

i can't even uninstall the program because it takes me to a popup window that says i need a disc to uninstall. then i put the easy cd disc in and it says something about not being able to find it on the disc.

any recommendations?

what is the problem with ez-cd? maybe we can fix the problem some other way? also are you sure you are pointing it to the right directory when you tell it to uninstall the program?

the problem is that the cd-rw drive won't recognize blank or directcd formatted discs.

i think the ez cd application starts up with no problems.

i have it pointing to the right directory on the disc when i try to uninstall/install.
