WIN2K - need help !!!!

here is the situation.... i have win2k pro and a Hercules GTS2. i have installed all updates etc. the latest Video drivers too. According to cpuid it shows that i am running at 2X AGP though my motherboard (asus cusl2) supports 4x agp.

does anyone know whats happening here - i also saw the same problem in Win ME.

according to the bios, the setting is at 4x.
