Win2k Lockups...

Ok it's not just diablo 2 locking up, it's the whole system. Win2k randomly locks up. The whole system just freezes and I can't do anything but force reboot. Anyone else expieriencing this? I know this is not a heat issue but a compatibility issue.
Will the amd registry patch fix this? I really don't want to dual boot with winMe which I am doing now. Thanks

Give the symptoms of the lockups. Is it just during 3D games?

Well, it happens during diablo 2 more often but it does happen during surfing the web...

i have all those things minus 64mb of ram and my GF2 is an asus 7700.... i get zero lockups, in everything but D2... which has gotten better but still sucks as far as stability goes.

my first suggestion would be to drop to video, 1 stick of ram and thats it... then see if you can get her to crash
