Ok, here is my problem.
It seems like any time i run a 3D program (e.g. 3Dsrceensavers, Tony hawk2, or kind of 3D demo) the PC crashes. The time it takes to crash is between 1 and 3 minutes. The interesting thing is that even though the my pc locks the music from the 3D demo, or 3Dgame will keep on playing, and the mouse pointer still moves.

One wierd thing is that i have NO problem when Playing Quake3. It runs smooth!!!

My setup.
-AMD K7-650classic
-Asus K7M Mobo
-256mb Curial PC 133 @ 100mhz
-WesternDigial HD
-Geforce 2
-Nothing in my system is overclocked.

If anyone has any idea is to what the problem maybe, please share the info!!!

thankyou

Cant help you but I notice that any game that uses the quake 3 engine NEVER has any problems even when running on a fukked up system. One damn fine engine IMO.

Davegod75,

is this the AGP patch you are talking ablout, if so it didnt solve the problem.
i installed this:
Windows® 2000 AGP Driver, Version 5.21 (Windows® 2000 only)
from:
http://www.amd.com/products/cpg/bin/

BreakApart,
Thank you for the link,
i will try this when i get home.
I assume that the Microsoft VIA update is different then the AGP patch from the www.amd.com??
