Win2K Locks Up Every Time the Phone Rings...

This is getting really annoying... every time the phone rings, my Win2K Pro locks up... any ideas. There is one issue that I think MIGHT be causing this... the Remote Access Service will not stop. Maybe it is trying to answer my phone and then locking??? I don't have anything set up for incoming connections though.

Here is my rig:
Abit KA7 Slot A with TY BIOS
Athlon 600 (not OC'ed)
1 128MB stick of mushkin CL2 RAM
1 128MB stick of Crucial CL2 RAM
IBM 20.5GB HD
CL TNT2Ultra (not OC'ed) running 6.?? drivers
Plextor 8x4x32 ide burner (IDE)
Toshiba 48x CD-ROM (IDE)
(edit)Actiontec PCI Call Waiting Modem(/edit)
Anything else???

Do you use RAS?
Try disabling it.

My aunt has the same modem, her machine did the same thing. If you read actiontec's web site: Windows 2000 users: If your modem's firmware starts with I1110, do not install under Windows 2000. You will need to upgrade to the 907 firmware before the modem will work with Windows 2000
Sure enough that was the problem, as soon as I flashed the moden the problem whent away.
