$#@%#@ Win2K keeps trying to load bad drivers for my Hollywood+

I just about got everything in my wife's computer. She has Win98 and Win2K dual boot under a FAT32 config. I initially had this same problem with her SB Live! and jusyt decided to go with the onboard sound. Now I'm adding a DVD Decoder card and it's driving me nuts.....

I have a Hollywood Plus and a Creative DXR 3. I download the H+ Win2K beta drivers, unzipped them and then proceeded with installing the card. Ititially, the system kept looking for a file. It was no where to be found in my H+ drivers folder. So, I uninstalled the hardware and tried again. SAME THING! Uninstalled and loaded it again. This time Win2K asks me if I would like to try the driver in the winnt/oem5/???? directory. Sure! Same crap it comes up under the hardware program as not functioning properly. I don't want it to load up that winnt/oem5/|????? file as itr still won't work. Also, I get the same problems with it finding all files for my DXR 3 and it tries to load from that winnt/oem5/????? file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

P.S. the DXR3 loads up and is running fine under Win98.

Do a Search for oem*.inf on your hardrive, these files are all the drivers you have installed (or tried for that matter) open each one up, if you find any that say Hollywood or Sigma designs in them delete the file. This will stop Win2k from auto installing the drivers everytime. Now when you go to install the driver again pick "Display a list of drivers in a known location so i can pick" Click Have Disk and point it to the driver.
