Win2K install - will it destroy data?

Well, I'm ready to take the plunge and move to Windows 2000 - a stable operating system at last! 😀

Moving from FAT32 to NTFS.... will it do it non-destructively so I don't have to back up *everything*? (I'll back up the important stuff regardless...)
I'll check the FAQ again, but last time I read it I still had the same question still bugging me....
"Is NTFS worth it?" I would certainly hope it could do the installation and conversion without having to destructively format the drive....

i think i've converted without erasing data... the prompt will tell you if it will erase anything

From my FAQ, How do I convert FAT32 to NTFS, it says in bold, You will not lose any data performing the conversion at the end of the first paragraph.

Are you having trouble with this sentence?

There's more than enough reasons to go with NTFS in my other FAQ,
FAT32 vs NTFS. Again, if there are any troubles, let me know.
