Win2k/hardware problem... I think

Anyway, i Just got that 449$ dell in.
Im booting off win2k cd to install win2k

It stops at the same files everytime. hid.dll, msjava.dll, to name a few

I skip them then when boot up again, it crashes.

soooo, Ive tried 2 different cdroms, ive tried 2 cds that i know work. Im kinda stuck here.

Any ideas?

How do i do a network install
 
Is it a new Dell?
Still under warranty?

If so, let them deal with it.

It sounds like one of those (in that order): memory, bad IDE cables, harddisk issue.
